About the Role
The Health Care Support Worker will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, person-centered care to adults aged 18-65 with acute mental health needs. Working across four key wards—Oakburn (male), Maplebeck (male), Ashbrook (female), and Clover (mixed psychiatric intensive care)—the role involves supporting service users on their journey to recovery. Collaboration with a dedicated multi-disciplinary team ensures the delivery of holistic care tailored to individual needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting service users with daily activities to enhance recovery.
- Collaborating with clinical teams to implement individualized care plans.
- Monitoring and reporting changes in the mental and physical health of service users.
- Encouraging a safe, respectful environment aligned with Trust values.
- Participating in professional development opportunities.
Other Details
