Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates must:
- Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle
- Have at least one year of caregiving experience (preferred)
- Be able to commute to Pittsburgh, PA
- Pass a drug screening and provide a current two-step TB test

About the Role
Caregivers at Age in Place Home Care play a vital role in improving the lives of clients by providing personalized, attentive care. This position is ideal for compassionate individuals with experience in patient care and caregiving. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and transferring
- Performing light housekeeping tasks
- Preparing meals and providing light cooking assistance
- Managing laundry and completing household errands
- Supporting clients with physical and emotional well-being
Caregivers are expected to adapt to a variety of shifts, including morning, evening, overnight, and weekends, based on the client’s needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support with bathing, dressing, toileting, and other ADLs
- Ensure a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping
- Assist with meal preparation and grocery shopping
- Foster client independence and emotional well-being
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Adapt to a flexible schedule that includes weekends and overnight shifts as needed
