About the Role:
The Research Nurse will be integral to the clinical trials function within the Academic Department of Oncology and Haematology at the Queens Centre, Castle Hill Hospital. The role entails working closely with multidisciplinary teams to recruit, screen, and care for patients involved in oncology/hematology clinical trials. An understanding of scientific protocols and the ability to work independently and flexibly are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team for patient recruitment
- Manage care for patients in clinical trials
- Liaise with external research partners
- Maintain a high standard of communication
- Support NIHR recruitment targets
