Requirements
- At least 12 months of care experience in a similar role
- A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle
- Strong attention to detail and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one

About the Role
This role involves providing high-quality care to clients in Crewkerne and nearby areas. The position is community-based, requiring travel between clients’ homes. The Specialist Home Care Assistant helps individuals regain confidence and independence while ensuring their dignity and well-being. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with personal care, including hygiene, toileting, and dressing
- Supporting clients to build confidence and transition to independent living
- Ensuring each client’s needs are met with respect and care
- Maintaining detailed records and reports as needed
- Working shifts between 7 am and 10 pm, including alternate weekends
